Brain Training Games

Before playing the brain training game, it's important to mention that people are not doing enough to keep their brains healthy according to some studies.

One study showed that 55 per cent of the population recognizes the need to exercise their mind even more so than the body, yet the majority is doing nothing, not enough or the wrong sort of exercise. For example many people prefer watching TV as a way to stimulate their brain, yet the passive stimulation that television provides means people are bypassing more effective activities that could have greater long term benefits. TV puts your brain in the passive mode, just like when you're driving your car and you put it on neutral. Unlike learning a new language or solving puzzles which "encourage" your mind to make the effort to learn something new or solve a problem.

THE AVERAGE AMERICAN WATCHES OVER 4 HOURS OF TELEVISION EVERY SINGLE DAY

The visual nature of television for example does not help in developing the part of the brain responsible for language. Children who watch too much television and do not read enough may have trouble paying attention and listening to comprehend language

Lack of awareness about the benefits of structured learning (which is one of the best ways to ensure the brain remains challenged and stimulated at any age) can have serious consequences. Focusing on structured learning should keep your brain active and have a positive impact on your overall well-being. It's believed that exercising your brain is essential if you want to stop it from slowly deteriorating.

Our brain need to be stimulated and challenged through ongoing learning in the same way as our body needs constant care and fitness. This will ensure we minimize the negative effects of time which contribute to the decline of cognitive capabilities. Just as our muscles grow as we exercise them, so does our brain physically strengthen as we train it.

According to a host of medical experts, continuous learning at every stage of life is one of the best ways to ensure the brain remains healthy, and brain deterioration is kept at bay.

The more education and training people have in their life, the more densely connected are their brain cells, eventually brains with better connected cells work faster and better. The main focus on the brain training for many people is memory and concentration; luckily we got that covered on this website.

Did you know we have 100 billion neurons at the age of 18, and from this age, we lose them at a rate of 50,000 or more a day? But that can be slowed down by following tricks, techniques and habits, as well as changes to your lifestyle, diet and behaviour that can help you flex your grey matter and get the best out of your brain cells.

The brain possesses a tremendous power, most of it is dormant, there are many reasons to wake some of that potential up, for once that would help you live a better life, stimulating areas of your brain is a healthy process. Below is a game which may require a lot of thinking and planning, and that's the best part about it, try to unleash your dormant power, it's all about the brain

Game Rule: read the rules on the screen below, then press > to start the game, once you start, your objective is to place every rock into the marked space, easier said that done, you cannot pull the rock, you can only push it, so avoid pushing it somewhere where it may get stuck. The best way to do it is to think before making any move, think at least 5 steps ahead before making any move. By doing so you are putting your brain in a deep thinking mode. If you realize that you made a mistake (for example a rock is stuck somewhere and you can't pull it back) you can simply restart that level by going one level backward and then pressing the forward button > to come back to the level you were playing before. The game has 103 levels, so you will have a lot of thinking to do. Enjoy this brain exercise!!
